Today's update brings the long awaited Unreal Engine 5 upgrade to PAYDAY 3, which allows us to begin paving the road to improving the game in new ways, as well as a significant reduction in storage space needed for the game (from 65GB to ~45GB).
We're also introducing a Cook Off Rework, featuring new lighting, removal of Bag Limits (cook to your heart's content) and more!
Today is also the day where, as we mentioned in The Future of PAYDAY with Paul, all paid Heist DLCs were delisted from all storefronts. In the upcoming September Update, all heists, past and future, will be included as part of the PAYDAY 3 base game! Please read this post for further details.

Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any problems with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.
If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 3. Select "Properties" from the menu. Under the tab "LOCAL FILES" select "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES...". The process may take some time to finish.
